President & Principal

Patrick Moya is the President and CEO of Quaero Group, an attorney search firm. He exclusively recruits law firm partners and groups nationwide, for AmLaw 100 & 200 firms and boutique law firms. He began exclusively recruiting attorneys in 2008 and, throughout his career, he has placed hundreds of attorneys at various firms and has opened offices for both large and small firms. The vast majority of the partners that he places are significant rainmakers in major US markets.

His clients look to him for his fortitude and perseverance to get searches completed, timely and efficiently, with exceptional lawyers who positively impact the firm’s revenue. Patrick earns each of his candidate’s trust with his knowledge of the marketplace, and by working with each candidate to ensure that a new firm is better for each attorney and better for their clients.

Outside of work, you will find Patrick hitting the slopes in the winter, mountain biking and camping in the summer, playing various sports, and coaching his 3 kids’ sports all year.


He is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder, with a degree in biochemistry and molecular, cellular and developmental biology.
